"My attention is focused more on the individuals and organizations concerned with providing support for IDPs...."-2face Idibia reacts to critics claim that his commitment to raising money for IDPs is for personal gains.

Despite his cancelled protest earlier in the year 2017, Nigerian foremost artiste, 2face Idibia, also known as 2baba, has recently shown relentless care and support to Internally Displaced Persons in Northern Nigeria. However, where good thrives, there must always be little foxes that tend to spoil the vine. Recently, there have been rumours that suggest his commitment to raising money for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) is solely for personal gains.

The R&B singer in reaction to the vile claims by critics in an interview with Vanguard News said that those who believe he is seeking to hoard monies realized from fund raising campaigns need mental care.

According to him, his main goal is to provide support for helpless Nigerians affected by the  Boko Haram insurgence in the North East of the country.
In his own words:

"My attention is focused more on the individuals and
organizations concerned with providing support for IDPs; people who murmur about hidden agenda don’t matter.
"If they are pessimists and haters then they need to be saved from themselves,".

The Nigerian RnB Magnate has shown great passion towards reviving the hope as well as changing the plight of these vicitimised helpless Nigerians.
His cancelled protest earlier in the year 2017 and his participation in the Eargasm concert are proof of his unrelenting support for the downtrodden.

The concert held on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at the Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos and it was a big musical event that had in attendance superstars such as Niyola, Tekno, Adekunle Gold, Sir Shina Peters, Yinka Davies, Kelly Hansome, Acetune, Bovi, DJ Neptune and more.
