The matrimonial knots have been tied. Brother Blessed finally weds his Sister, Mercy Chinwo.

It was a day of celebration as the most endeared Gospel sensational songstress and “Excess Love” crooner, Mercy Chinwo and Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa, Resident pastor of Waterbrook, Lagos, tied the knot in an elaborate wedding ceremony which held on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at EUI Event Centre, Port Harcourt. The wedding which was planned by Events by Pae in collaboration with Arbela Events was the talk of the town as friends, family, fans, celebrities, dignitaries and well wishers converged to celebrate with the couple on their special day. 

The love story of the duo is a clear indication that nothing just happens out of the blues! Their union had been predestined and stamped in heaven. 

When being asked how the journey began, Pastor Blessed revealed that he already got attracted to her the very first time he saw her. According to him;

The first time I saw Mercy, she came to minister at the church where I Pastor (The Waterbrook Church) and her ministration was so powerful that I gave her the nickname “Madam open heavens”. Well, what started out as just two ministers & friends having a banter 😊 grew stronger and stronger, and today, the rest is a beautiful lovestory!
